Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a collaborative and confidential form of treatment with a trained therapist, utilizing various techniques to help individuals overcome emotional and psychological challenges. It aims to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, fostering personal insight and positive change.
Through open dialogue and a supportive environment, psychotherapy equips individuals with tools to cope with stress, manage conflicts, and enhance overall well-being, whether addressing specific mental health conditions or seeking personal growth.
It empowers individuals to understand themselves better, promoting resilience and improved mental health. Explore how we utilize psychotherapy to heal you.

Types of Therapy Offered
Synchronized Synergistic Therapy (SST)
SST is an integrative and comprehensive psycho therapeutic healing modality that pairs a psychotherapist with one or more other clinicians of other healing disciplines in the therapy session.
This synergistic and collaborative approach allows the client to be supported in accessing and releasing deeply held emotions and traumas in the mind and body.
Being supported in a safe and nurturing environment, with the mind and body simultaneously being addressed, allows blocks to emotional and physical pain to begin to dissolve and trapped emotions to begin to release.
Messages held in the body begin to be expressed and unwind in the therapeutic process. Clients often report feeling light, hopeful, and clear following SST sessions.
Through the synchronization of practitioners in the SST process, clients often need fewer sessions than traditional trauma-focused therapies to achieve relief of chronic emotional struggles.
Synchronized Synergistic Therapy is developed from the core foundational principles of The Emotional Shifting Process, an innovative healing technique founded by the late Dr. Richard Schulman, Ph.D.
Megan was mentored by Dr. Schulman in the theory and practice of The Emotional Shifting Process for many years prior to his passing. She and her colleagues feel privileged and honored to expand upon and carry on Dr. Schulman’s legacy and life work through the development and practice of Synchronized Synergistic Therapy.
EMDR
As a trauma specialist, Megan incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into the healing process.
EMDR is an evidenced-based therapy that provides rapid relief from intrusive thoughts, images, feelings, and body sensations related to traumatic events.
Trauma memories are stored differently in the brain than ordinary memories. Therefore, accessing such memories requires different therapies than traditional talk therapy.
EMDR uses alternating eye movements, auditory tones, or tapping to access and release traumatic memories.
This therapy supports the natural healing capabilities of the mind-body in the resolution of trauma.
Clients often report a sense of peace and stillness after receiving EMDR.
